Accessibility statement
Last updated: 22 October 2026 · בעברית
This site is built to be usable by people browsing with a screen reader, with a keyboard only, or with low vision. Below is what has actually been done, and what has not yet.
What has been done
- Full keyboard navigation. Every link and button can be reached without a mouse, with a clear marker on the focused element.
- A skip link at the top of the page, so you don't have to tab through the whole menu on every visit.
- Accessibility menu (the blue button at the side of the screen): page size, high contrast, grayscale, highlighted links, a readable font, text spacing, stopping animations and a large cursor. The menu is a convenience; the site itself is built to be accessible without it.
- Text descriptions for every image that carries information. Purely decorative images are marked as such and stay silent in screen readers.
- A correct, hierarchical heading structure, so you can move between sections with a screen reader.
- Colour contrast checked against the AA level for all text on the site.
- Reduced motion is respected. If your operating system is set to reduce animations, the site appears without motion.
- Language and direction are declared in the code, so screen readers pronounce Hebrew and English correctly.
- The site is hand-coded with no third-party plugins, which is what made it possible to control all of these details.
What has not been done yet
No formal accessibility audit by a certified accessibility consultant has been carried out, and the site has not been fully checked against every requirement of Israeli Standard 5568.
The items listed above have been implemented and checked, but this statement is not a certificate of full compliance with the standard.
